Cables and Arans 4

I’m sorry for not getting a chance to post my knitting last week. Life just some times gets in the way. I really hate when that happens :p I do have ten more samples knitted up, you can check out the picture. I am working on a new weaving project. So I hope, if all goes well I will have that all done this week. I also need to get my seeds started. But I need to wait until nest week to get all the stuff I need. Money is short this week.

So in the next couple of weeks I should have a lot to blog about. Cool because that means that I have been doing a lot of work. O ya one more thing this weather better warm up, we had a really nice day about a week or so a go, it was up close to sixty degrees and of course now its back to being really cold.

If you couldn’t tell I don’t care that it’s February in PA when it’s supposed to be cold. I prefer it to be a little warmer and no I’m not moving to a place that it is warmer that’s no fun then I wouldn’t have anything to complain about.

Cables and Arans 3

This weeks Cables and Arans are done, I like doing the ones with a three dimensional effect to them, like the cables or most of the ones pictured here. These are from top to bottom and left to right. Arched cables, mock cable wide rib, ascending fern, floating snake pattern, open honeycomb, floating leaves and centered cables.

Table ware final

I finally got the table runner finished. Ok I confess I got it finished over a week ago and just got a chance to blog it. Life gets busy you know then you don’t get to do the things you enjoy, I digress.

The runner came out very well I thought. The fabric itself is quite sturdy and will work well. Being disappointed in not being able to do the original fringe the one I came up with is a nice substation.

Check out the closer view you can see all three different types of trim that I mentioned in an earlier post. So all in all I’m happy with the out come. Sorry for the cloudiness.

Cables and Arans 2

I have this week’s knitting samples done. There named from top to bottom left to right. Rhombus, Twisted Candles, Big Twisted Candle, Crossed Grooves, Sloping Diamonds, 20 Twisted Candle, Sand Wind and finally Geometric Twisted Candles. And if my math is correct that makes eight for the week so I’m one up from goal yeah!!!!

Tucker

The other day I was making the bed with some clean sheets. Well Tucker decided to help me. He got up on the bed while I was putting the fitted sheet on and told him if he didn’t move I was going to make the bed with him in it. He didn’t move so I picked him up and put him on top of the fitted sheet. So he stayed there so the sheet wouldn’t move. Then I put on the flat sheet and then the blanket the whole time Tucker was under them moving around to making sure they were nice and smooth so he said. (I didn’t believe him either.)
I put the pillows on then the comforter the whole time he just stayed under all of that. Then I guess he thought it was a little to warm for him self so he poked his head out a little. Check out the picture below.

That crazy cat he really never helps make the bed instead just like to play under the sheets.
