Seeds

I haven't forgotten about my seed list this year. I just haven't had the time to get them ordered. While we were at the flower show I picked up a package of seeds. The D. Landreth Seed Company has been in business since 1784 and they are an heirloom company.

Therw stand at the show had seed packages, already put together. Such as flowers, herbs, vegies and the like. So I picked up the heirloom seed collection. I have bought seeds from the before with good experiences. The list is below and to add to it I'm also getting, just haven't received them yet cotton seed. Brown to be specific and colious as well. Here be my list.

Christmas Pole Lima Been
Rouge Vif d'Etampes Pumpkin
Ananas D'Amerique A Chair Verte
Chervena Chujski Peppers
Louisiana Long Green Eggplant
Tonda Di Parigi Carrot
Mervielle Des Quatre Saisons Lettuce

The Philadelphia Flower Show

Yesterday Ed and I took My parents to the Philadelphia Flower Show. It was actually part of there Christmas present that Santa had brought them. This years theme is the movies, specifically Disney movies, all though there where a couple of other movies that weren't Disney represented. The displays them selves where more of an inspiration from the movie, not so much an exact place from the movie. It was a wonderful day and everyone had a great time.

After the show we went across the street to the Reading Terminal Market. Unfortunately not everything is open on a Sunday, since a great number of vendors are Amish or Mennonite they don't open on a Sunday. There is still enough open to enjoy a trip over before going home. All in all a great day.
